Dr. Akgun is the founder of Specialty Scanners Limited. He has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare technology research, development and commercialisation gained both in hospital and industrial environments. Dr. Akgun served as Advanced Technology Development Manager for Picker International (later Marconi Medical Systems), Science & Technology Manager for Advanced NMR Systems Inc (MA-USA), and also served as consultant with Surrey Medical Imaging Systems (UK) .

Raymond L Hughes, MSc, CEng, MIEE

Raymond Hughes has 38 years of experience in the high-technology medical equipment industry and served as Project Manager at X-ray and Ultrasound divisions of GEC Medical (UK). With the acquisition of GEC Medical by Picker International (USA) he later transferred to MRI division, and as Manufacturing Manager of Picker International (UK), he has overseen the manufacturing, assembly, test and shipment of more than 100 MRI scanners. During his time at the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Hospital, he has overseen the design and construction of a mobile, cardiac MRI scanner.

Dr Graham Clark, PhD, DipM

Dr Clark is the Founder of Clark Medical Research and currently serving as Managing Director. He has over 25 years' experience of market research, marketing consultancy and access to healthcare market, which has involved interviewing and researching clinicians and patients. The therapy areas he has worked in include oncology, haemophilia, Huntington's disease, pain, neurology, urology and many others. Dr Clark has also been a Senior Lecturer in the Swansea Business School, and has lectured at graduate and post-graduate / MBA level in the UK and overseas.
